The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is pleased to announce that two patent applications have successfully received 90% financial reimbursement eligibility from the Takamul Program, which is managed by the Department of Economic Development.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) is pleased to announce that two patent applications have successfully received 90% financial reimbursement eligibility from the Takamul Program, which is managed by the Department of Economic Development. The inventors of the patents are Professor Hichem El Euch, Professor of Physics, and Dr. Montasir Qasymeh, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering.
Takamul is a UAE innovation program that supports inventors and promotes innovation across the nation, in line with the Abu Dhabi Government Economic Vision 2030 objective to establish a knowledge-based economy.
The ORSP would like to congratulate the inventors on this impressive accomplishment. Such achievements are integral to Abu Dhabi University becoming a pioneering platform for innovation, not only in the UAE but globally as well. Faculty are encouraged to approach the ORSP with state-of-the-art inventions and ideas that could potentially be patentable.
