Interior Design Students Shine at ‘Touch of Art’ interior design exhibition
Abu Dhabi University’s Interior Design students were pleased to participate in the ‘Touch of Art’ interior design exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Center in January.
Abu Dhabi University’s Interior Design students were pleased to participate in the ‘Touch of Art’ interior design exhibition held at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Center in January. They displayed their final year projects at the exhibition, which was open to the public for a week. VIP visitors, including Amal bu Shallakh, member of the UAEFA board and the AFC committee for women’s football, attended the event.
Speaking about the exhibition, ADU’s Dr. Sadeka Abdel Shakour, Associate Professor of Furniture and Interior Design, said, “We are thrilled with the exemplary quality standards of our students. Cleverly interspersing style and practicality, the projects exhibited ranged from contemporary art to Arabian inspired designs. The competency of the students’ work reflects their commendable skills, artistic vision, and the tools that they acquired during their journey at ADU.”
VIPs who attended the event were Jasim Al Ali - Chief Executive Officer First Abu Dhabi Bank Real Estate group, Aaref A.Alkhoori - General Manager Link International Properties , Mohammed A.Zaki - Senior Vice President First Abu Dhabi Bank and Amal bu Shallakh.
