Abu Dhabi University (ADU) hosted its first edition of the International Conference on Environment Design, Material Science and Engineering Technologies (EDMSET), held in collaboration with the International Experts for Research Enrichment and Knowledge Exchange (IEREK). The conference took place at ADU's Dubai campus from the 22^nd to the 24^th of April 2024, which provided attendees with a platform to engage in discussions and foster innovation across various fields, including mechanical engineering, architecture, computation, automation, aerospace engineering, and environmental resilience. Additionally, prior to the conference 150 research papers were submitted by subject matter experts and presented during the EDMSET.

Abu Dhabi University (ADU) reaffirms its commitment to educational excellence with the launch of two cutting-edge professional development certificates through its SMART Learning Center, the "Art and Science of Teaching Professional Development Certificate" and the "AI-Enhanced Teaching and Learning Certificate." Abu Dhabi University (ADU)’s Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), announced that the University has achieved 3,000 research publications in the international Scopus Index, with exponential growth in the past five years. With 80% of ADU’s publications issued in the Q1 and Q2 categories, the research represents a hallmark for top-tier universities around the world. The 3,000 publications cover multidisciplinary themes, including engineering and technology, health science, business, finance, and economics.

In line with Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) dedication to fostering innovation, the University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Creed & Bear Network L.L.C (C&B), a DataTech company that specializes in providing secure and cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) software solutions penetrating in the finance space. In line with Abu Dhabi University's (ADU) commitment to enabling excellence in STEM education and fostering innovation among students and the wider community, ADU's College of Engineering concluded its third annual STEM Programming Competition in November 2023. The competition witnessed the participation of over 830 school students from 68 schools, divided into more than 140 teams. The event took place at ADU's main campus, Al Ain campus, and virtually, where 20 teams were awarded trophies and monetary prizes.
