As part of its ongoing efforts to provide students with unique learning opportunities, Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU), College of Engineering (CoE), has inaugurated a 3D Concrete Printing Research Lab in its Abu Dhabi campus. The Lab features advanced 3D printing technologies that will contribute to the prototyping of concrete structures. The technology enables the creation of intricate shapes and designs that would be difficult to achieve using traditional construction methods.

In line with its efforts to foster a cultivated learning environment for students, Abu Dhabi University (ADU), concluded the first edition of its Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) competition in conjunction with the UAE’s innovation month. With 42 participating schools from across the public and private sectors, over 500 students partook in the competition where the top three winners were awarded trophies and monetary prizes of up to AED 32,000.

Abu Dhabi University (ADU), has appointed Professor Ghassan Aouad as ADU’s new Chancellor. Prof. Aouad will spearhead ADU’s journey of excellence in academia and research nationally, regionally and globally through working closely with staff and professors to strengthen ADU’s position as a leading academic institution across all levels. Prof. Aouad will support in fostering scientific research and best practices in the field to elevate international rankings and recognition.
