Abu Dhabi University (ADU) in collaboration with The Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) and The AdWisers, hosted a Symposium under the theme ‘From Excellence to Impact: Standardization, Research, Innovation and Quality Education’. The symposium delivered a vibrant, enriching and valuable learning experience for students focused on research and innovation.

During GITEX Global Week 2023, the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi University (ADU), one of the region’s leading academic institutions, to elevate joint collaboration in education, life sciences and clinical research. Reinforcing the Emirate’s position as a leading destination for innovation, both parties will exchange knowledge and expertise across the healthcare and academic fields to advance Abu Dhabi’s healthtech ecosystem. 

In line with Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) vision to foster leadership, innovation and ambition among students, ADU is participating in the 17^th edition of the Najah Abu Dhabi exhibition 2023, the largest education fair in the UAE. As part of Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) Innovate Strategy (ADUi) efforts focused on accelerating sustainable and innovative agricultural solutions, ADU inaugurated its first on-campus AirFarm, an inflatable and portable farm, in collaboration with Midbar, a smart ag-tech South Korean company and H.E. Rashed Bin Khalfan Al Mutawa Al Dhaheri Holding company (RBK). These sectors include but are not limited to agriculture, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), health, and water desalination.

Focused on continuously evolving its programs and offerings to deliver a well-rounded academic experience for students, Abu Dhabi University's (ADU) College of Business has rolled out five new undergraduate degrees accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), a UAE Federal Government Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education. In line with the in-demand skills for the current market, the programs are designed to empower students to grow, succeed and prepare for their future careers.

Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) and Al Nahda National Schools (ANNS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enrich students' understanding of university life and academic disciplines. This time, ADU is once again recognized by the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 (THE), ranking 13^th best university globally, among the Top 20 Small Universities in the World, out of 81 academic institutions across 33 locations. The ranking comes in line with the University’s continuous endeavors to introduce competitive and accredited programs that align with the UAE Government’s National Agenda and top global rankings. As part of Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) efforts to provide a well-rounded educational experience to its students, ADU has announced the successful completion of its preparations for the upcoming academic year 2023-2024. The University crafted a comprehensive development plan, which includes faculty recruitment across various disciplines and campuses, the enhancement and modernization of digital infrastructure and the strengthening of laboratory readiness, programs and library resources. In line with Abu Dhabi University’s (ADU) commitment to invest in scientific research opportunities that foster innovation and creative thinking among faculty and students, ADU and Dakila Research Social Sciences UAE (DRSS), a conglomerate of 19 Brazilian companies from different sectors, among them, Associação Dakila Pesquisas, whose purpose is to promote economic and social development, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further advance students’ knowledge in research and technology.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representitive of the Ruler in Al Dhafra Region and President of the Board of Trustees of Abu Dhabi University (ADU), grants 20 scholarships to the top high school students in recognition of their outstanding academic performance. The scholarship awardees will enroll in ADU at the start of the academic year 2023 - 2024 to join any of the 50 unique programs at its Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dubai campuses.
